About

A little background

I am currently on terminal leave after I did my final out with Maxwell AFB on June 29th. My ETS is August 28th, 2026, but I was released from active duty.

During my time in the Air Force, I have been a software development operations airman working with the BESPIN software factory security team, stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base/Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama.

I enjoy cybersecurity, software engineering, and finance.

I am most interested in the following career fields: Computer Network Operations Developer, Cyber Warfare Specialist, Cybersecurity Software Engineer, Offensive Cyber Operator, Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst, Reverse Engineer, Cryptographic Software Engineer, Cyber Threat Hunter, Information Assurance Engineer, Software Developer

I joined the military because it offered a better opportunity than going to college for electrical engineering. Even though I could have attended college for free with my unused Florida College Prepaid fund and scholarships, I chose work experience over college. It seems to have paid off β€” I still ended up earning a Bachelor's degree at 19 and a Master's degree at 20, both in cybersecurity and information assurance.

I enlisted out of high school on August 29th, 2022, when I was 18. After completing basic military training on October 20th, 2022, I graduated from the Software Development Operations pipeline on March 24th, 2023.

My AFSC (Air Force Specialty Code) became Data Operations (1D751P) with a career field merger, after I passed tech school/5-level training for Software Development Operations (1D751Z). That career field was renamed to Data Engineering (1D7X4P), which is what I am currently. I hold the rank of Senior Airman (E4).
